This is the smaller version of the Patagonia dish rack with only 2-tiers. It is made of high quality stainless steel. Unlike our self draining Rohan dish, which needs to be placed next to the sink, this one can be kept anywhere on the counter since it uses a tray to catch water. This tray can be easily slid out from under the frame to discard the water. The Patagonia 2-tier stainless steel dish rack drainer comes with two sturdy end frames made of rectangular stainless steel tubing and two racks. The plate rack is the top most one and takes plates, pots and pans and even wine glasses on its bottom side. The bottom rack can be used for tumblers, bowls and pretty much anything you would like to have dried. The Patagonia dish rack comes with the Palena utensil tray.
The Patagonia rack works just as well as storage shelves on your counter to hold everyday items like dinner plates, bowls and cutlery.

The quality is excellent. No doubt this could be the last dish rack I ever buy. For functionality though, I do find I can’t put the same amount of stuff in as securely as my last. This is because the slats on the top are: 1) fairly narrow, like, for plates, cutting boards, lids etc. Do not expect to be able to for anything like a pasta bowl on it securely; 2) re security, because there isn’t a lip, anything placed on the top that’s not one of the prior named items can 100% slip off. If you have plastic containers or mixing bowls or pots, they need to go on the bottom rack to be held securely. You can put them on top, but then when you put something else on you need to be careful not to knock what’s already there, as those items can just slip off and break. We have had a glass casualty already. Lastly, although the wine glass holder is theoretically useful, it isn’t going to be unless you have small wine glasses. If they’re taller than 7 inches tall they won’t fit. I’d find a way to have this feature as an add-on OR have ideas / adaptors on how to use this feature if your glasses don’t fit. It would be nice to have little hooks on it or available so I can dry items like measuring spoons or cups. I’m sure I can buy some online, but given the height restriction on the glass dryer, adding in a few small hooks would make this feature useful no matter what.
High praises for construction and materials. If there were hooks and an upper lip would be perfect, but for those reasons - and mainly the lack of lip on the upper rack -I cannot give it 5 stars. Perhaps the other non-stacked style would be more flexible, however I don’t have a lot of counter space, so maintaining useable space in front of the dryer on my counters was a priority for me, and therefore this model was the one that worked the best.
We agree that a guard rail for the upper tier would be useful. We will offer that as an bolt-on accessory in the near future. We will also offer a cutlery holder that can hang on the outside. Regarding hooks for the wine glass holder, you could use S shaped hooks available in hardware stores. Thanks for your feedback.
Been looking for a while for a dish rack thank is both functional, right size for me and good looking and this is perfect! I live in Europe so thankful they offer international shipping even though it gets a bit expensive. Loving it!
Reviewing to activate warranty. Love the dish rack so far.
Awesome neat product
