Factory second units will be made available as we find them.
Factory seconds (also called blems) are brand new products in original packaging, that have minor cosmetic blemishes but are otherwise fully functional. The Rohan Dish Drainer consists of the drain board, dish rack and a cutlery holder. Factory seconds have minor scratches, uneven finish or imperfect shape. The blemishes are not easily noticeable when the item is in use. The lifetime warranty still applies although it does not cover cosmetic blemishes on factory seconds. These products can be returned for a full refund if not fully satisfied. Shipping fees, both ways, are not refundable.
As with the Rohan dish drainer, Factory seconds are also available in two versions, the Short side version in which the shorter 13.5 inch side overhangs the sink and the Long side version in which the longer 18 inch side overhangs the sink. For pictures of these versions check the Rohan dish drainer listing.
The Long side drainer is our standard version and works for 90% of the cases. It takes up less of your counter width and is the better choice when counter space is limited. The Short side drainer needs at least 18 inches of counter width and is recommended if you have fittings on the edge of the sink like water or soap dispensers which prevent the drainboard from overhanging the sink. Please note that your sink does not have to be as wide as the drainboard since water only drains from the middle 4 inch region in both versions of the dish drainer.
The short side version is NOT sold out even though you may be unable to select it. Contact us if you need the short side version since we only make it available on request. We do this because people are mistakenly choosing the costlier Short Side version when the cheaper Long Side version would work. You can send us a picture of your sink if you are unable to decide and we can advise you.

Looks great and is functional!
I love this dish drained, it looks amazing and is so functional. Also all stainless steel. Great product
I was desperate for a harmonious plastic-free dish rack. This is undoubtedly beautiful and well made, and (though I'm still sore over the unrelated international shipping) reasonably priced. Drains nicely, though I wonder if/why a sliiightly more dramatic tilt was out of the question. Surprisingly versatile layout, so far (I was worried about being excessively restricted by the slots in how I could arrange dishes). I like the high "guardrail" around one side, I feel comfortable placing delicate mugs and tall glasses there. I have yet to use it after a night of serious cooking involving multiple large pots and serving dishes, but I look forward to trying that--I suspect I'll need hand-dry and put away a few large dishes if I don't want to take the Jenga too far, and I find that acceptable.
I wish the utensil caddy was larger and sturdier, and I wish it had rounded edges. I am clumsy and have already mildly injured my finger on the edge, so I'll think about placing it differently (the ability to orient it in multiple ways is very nice). An altogether larger version of this dish rack, perhaps with prongs on which to place cups, would be good for those with the counter space.
Happy so far. Looking forward to a long relationship with the Rohan!
Beautiful design, and I could not find anything wrong with my factory second drainer.
Great!
